Monolith Table Lamp 💡
Lighting object with a small footprint, that casts a subtle warm decorative light on top of the surface.
This piece was concieved while exploring the intersections of the wood grain in different types of curvatures, after various experiments, double curvature came out as such.
Composed of two solid oak wood bodies that are shaped into its final form though a combination of manufacturing processes, incorporating both manual and industrial methods.
It’s design language comes from the process of manufacturing in itself, creating this monolithic yet inviting silhouette that is thought provoking as it comes from a solid body of wood.

Alto Chair 🪑
Stackable Chair made from solid wood. Designed for interior/domestic spaces.
Material optimization is the main inspiration for the object, made out of a single plank of solid wood of commercial dimensions.
Inspired by the Mexican vernacular chair, where an expression through form and proportion are visible, and the main appeal is materiality.
The piece is made using basic methods for transforming wood and can be adapted to a variety of processes either artisan or industrial. Finished and stained using sustainable wood oil, applied by hand.
Various scale models and study models were made in order to get to the final result.

A proposal for a basket, reinterpreting a common object with a contemporary approach.
Developing a design language that expands to further typologies and showcases surprising details done with relatively simple manufacturing processes.
Made out of powder-coated sheet metal and bent tube.

This piece results from decontextualizing accessible resources and materials, offering a blend of local low-scale industrial processes and unexpected details.
A combination of a machined aluminum body and an acrylic shade, joined by standard hardware that is exposed, proposes an architectural silhouette with an accessible design language.
